The best Middle-Distance Greyhounds at Palm Beach Kennel Club will compete on Saturday Afternoon, February 27 in the final of the $50,000 James W. Paul Derby. This will be the 85th running of the Derby!

The best Middle-Distance Greyhounds at Palm Beach Kennel Club will compete on Saturday Afternoon, February 27 in the final of the $50,000 James W. Paul Derby. This will be the 85th running of the Derby!
- Free Admission
- Gates open at 11:30AM
- $10,000 Guaranteed Pick 4
- The National Anthem will be sung live on track at 12:30PM by Gary Hodges
- Ace the Poker Bear and Karl Koppertop (Balloon Artist) will be on hand from 1-3PM
- Greyhound adoption representatives will also be on hand to promote our pet programs
- Enjoy food specials, including hotdog & soda for $3.50 or a hotdog & beer for $4.50!
- Join John Martin with ESPN West Palm, ESPN 106.3 Street Team and ESPN Desportes 760 Street Team from 2-4PM in front of the first-floor Poker Room with the CASH CUBE and a chance to win up to $500!
- Free WPTV-TV 5 Souvenir Glass to the first 500 guests. Upon entering the track at the first floor or Terrace Entrance, the first 500 guests age 18 and over will receive a coupon good for one Derby glass. After Race 6, patrons will be able to redeem this coupon for their glass as they leave Palm Beach Kennel Club. Glasses will be given out throughout the remainder of the afternoon as people exit PBKC.
- The Final of the $50,000 James W. Paul Derby will be Race 12. The Derby is PBKC’s longest-running racing event and this is the 85th running.
