CEO, Palm Beach County Food Bank

Jamie Kendall is a dedicated nonprofit leader with over 25 years of experience in management, fundraising, and public relations, rooted in her early career in coastal Georgia's conservation and community service sectors. Beginning as Director of Development and Financial Operations at the St. Simons Land Trust in 1998, where she helped launch a startup organization focused on land preservation and public outreach, Kendall quickly advanced through roles that built her expertise in strategic planning, donor engagement, and operational efficiency. Her journey took her to the American Red Cross Southeastern Coastal Georgia Chapter as Executive Director from 2005 to 2010, followed by a decade as Chief Operating Officer at America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia until 2021, where she honed skills in grant management, program development, and compliance with national food banking standards.

Now serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Palm Beach County Food Bank since January 2021, Kendall brings her passion for hunger relief to Florida's vibrant communities, overseeing the sourcing, storage, and distribution of nutritious food through a network of partners. This progression from Georgia's grassroots conservation efforts to leading a major food bank mirrors standard professional bios in the nonprofit world - concise narratives that trace a clear career arc from foundational roles to executive impact, emphasizing relational skills and mission-driven growth without overwhelming metrics. Martha Lynn Weeks
Manager, The Lighthouse Café Ministries of the Glades

For nearly thirty years, Martha Lynn Weeks has been the heart of The Lighthouse Café Ministries of the Glades, where her leadership and compassion continue to shape the way the Café cares for the community. She has deep roots in the Glades as a third-generation Floridian and lifelong resident of Lake Harbor. She is the daughter of Charles 'Mutt' Thomas and Virginia Saxon Thomas, a proud graduate of Belle Glade High School, Class of 1967, and a devoted member of the Lake Harbor Community Church.

Long before joining The Lighthouse Café, Martha Lynn was already living the values that define her today. Her life centered around her family, her children, Rose McGahee and Luke Weeks, her church, and her desire to be present for those around her. In 1997, when she stepped into her role at The Lighthouse Café, she entered a space where her faith and natural compassion could guide her work every single day.

From that first day forward, Martha Lynn has led with compassion, grace, and a hands-on approach that strengthens the Café's mission day after day.
