Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach to identify and recruit farmworkers within the community.
- Educate clients on available community services and program benefits.
- Complete client intakes, family assessments, and required case management documentation.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and well-organized client files and case notes.
- Enter client information into the agency database and CMIS; complete all required tracking and outcome reports.
- Work toward program goals as set by the supervisor.
- Provide transportation for clients to medical, social service, and other essential appointments.
- Offer interpretation, translation, advocacy, and orientation support during appointments.
- Assist clients in accessing services such as applying for programs, completing applications, and understanding bills.
- Provide referrals to partner agencies and community resources.
- Facilitate support groups and lead financial literacy workshops.
- Participate in staff meetings, interagency meetings, and required trainings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners.
- Assist with translating, preparing, and distributing flyers and printed materials.
- Pick up donations and supplies; issue donor receipts as needed.
- Submit timesheets and documentation in a timely, organized manner.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team and maintain a professional, positive attitude.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to drive safely and perform outreach in the community.
- Ability to bend, stretch, reach, lift, carry, and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
Additional Requirements:
- FWCC is a Drug-Free Workplace.
- Pre-employment drug screening and Level 2 criminal background check required.
